“One Wig, One Dollar, One Hundred”
“One Wig, One Dollar, One Hundred”
This is it! All hand-drawn, this generous new design by Carter, a highly produced and detailed piece, was created over the last several weeks, and comes in at a robust 9 x 12 inches. Featuring familiar imagery from Carter’s ongoing vocabulary; the solitary wig, the odd typeface, stylized waterfalls and echos of idiosyncratic packaging and product placement, that lead to an unresolved and peculiar end. Two pieces of hardened watercolor paper, sandwiched together and sewn shut with a tight, midnight black thread - this new design features artwork on both the front and back surfaces and includes a washed and ironed one dollar bill, gingerly woven into the design. “One Wig, One Dollar, One Hundred” can be yours, if you act fast. Seriously, super limited.
